4K 8MP Outdoor Solar Camera | Tapo C660 KIT

Love this camera! It has been up for 2 weeks and it is working exactly as advertised and the solar panel is keeping the battery charged at 100%. Set up with the app was so easy and the picture quality is superb! The added benefit of local clip storage on a micro sd card is great - no yearly fees required!

I bought two of these Tapo outdoor solar cameras to add to my existing setup, which already includes five indoor cameras and door sensors. Everything integrates very smoothly into the Tapo app, making the whole system easy to manage.The cameras themselves perform very well. Motion tracking is impressive, the night vision quality is solid, and overall reliability has been great so far.One thing I especially love about Tapo is that they allow local storage with SD cards instead of forcing users into paid cloud subscriptions. That was honestly a huge selling point for me. Thanks to that flexibility, I’ll continue using Tapo cameras for my home setup.My only real complaint is the field of view. I wish the lens were wider because to cover a large area — like an entire side or backyard — you have to install the camera very far away from the house. Still, overall, I’m very satisfied with the system.

Je suis très satisfaite de la qualité de l’image, la caméra fonctionne très bien même lors des grands froids (-25 Celsius). Facile à programmer et à installer, les instructions sont très claires. Par contre, il faut explorer l’application pour trouver certaines fonctions. L’autonomie de la batterie est excellente, même si c’est nuageux, elle ne consomme pas beaucoup par jour et se recharge bien lors des journées ensoleillées. Même chose si vous utilisez une carte SD, avec 250 Go, vous avez assez de mémoire pour plusieurs semaines… mois! J’ai eu un souci avec une de mes caméras, mais j’ai eu un excellent service de la part de TP-Link, un merci spécial à Alexander Caberto qui m’a assisté.

This is an easy and intuitive installation. Works well with very good video quality. The real test will be this winter with short days and cold temperatures.
