- contacting and chatting with our staff;
- rating and reviewing individual products.
These are referred to collectively below as the "Services".
These Terms of Service apply to all users of the website, including visitors, customers and contributors of content. Please read them carefully before accessing or using this website. By accessing or using any part of the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of the terms of this agreement, you may not access the website or use any Services.

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are the age of majority in your province or territory of residence, or that you are the age of majority and have given your consent to allow any of your minor dependants to use this website.

We reserve the right to refuse Services to any person at any time.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of our Services at any time.

Using certain Services on this website generally requires you to create a user account and sign in. Personal information may be collected during registration; it is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

When you create an account on ca.store.tapo.com you are automatically enrolled in the Tapo Rewards Club. If you do not wish to become a member, we recommend checking out as a guest. Users who register for the Tapo Rewards Club must be at least 16 years old. Further details are set out in the terms of the Tapo Rewards Club.
III. Accuracy and completeness of information
We do our best to describe every product and service offered on this website as accurately as possible. However, we do not warrant that product specifications, prices or other content of the Services are complete, accurate, reliable, current or error-free. In the event of an error in pricing or specifications, TP-Link has the right to refuse or cancel orders at its discretion. If we have already charged your credit card or another account before cancelling, we will credit the amount charged back to your account.
IV. Price changes
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. All prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) and exclude applicable federal and provincial taxes, which are calculated and displayed at checkout.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Services (or any part or content of them) at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuation of the Services.
V. Availability
Certain products may be available exclusively online through this website. These products may be available in limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only in accordance with our Return Policy. We do not warrant that the quality of any product, information or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Services will be corrected. This does not affect the specific manufacturer warranties applicable to our products, or your rights under applicable Canadian consumer protection law.
We have made every effort to display the colours and images of our products as accurately as possible. We cannot guarantee that your screen displays every colour accurately.
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sale of our products to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction, and to limit the quantities of any products we offer. All product descriptions and product prices are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.
You acknowledge and agree that our Services are not 100% reliable and are not available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Services may be temporarily suspended without prior notice for reasons of security, system faults, maintenance and repair, updates or other circumstances.
VI. Accuracy of the information you provide
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, at our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. If we change or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the email address, billing address and/or telephone number provided at the time the order was placed. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made in our store, and to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and payment card numbers and expiry dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
VII. Chat function
We offer a chat function on the website so you can chat live with our staff, ask questions and discuss our Services and products. The chat function is for non-binding information only and does not replace individual customer advice. Legally binding commitments and other legally binding declarations are not made through the chat function, by us or by you as a user.
VIII. Third-party tools
We may provide you with access to third-party tools which we neither monitor nor control nor influence.
You acknowledge and agree that we provide access to such tools "as is" and "as available", without warranties, representations or conditions of any kind and without any endorsement. We have no liability whatsoever arising from or relating to your use of optional third-party tools.

Use of the website is at your own risk. TP-Link accepts no liability for damages in connection with access to and/or use of this website and the Services, except for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence. Nothing in these Terms of Service limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable Canadian consumer protection law.
XIV. Final provisions
1. Entire agreement
Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
These Terms of Service, together with any policies or operating rules posted by us on this website or in respect of the Services, constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and us, govern your use of the Services, and supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and us (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Terms of Service).
Any ambiguities in the interpretation of these Terms of Service are not to be construed against the drafting party.
2. Governing law
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario. Nothing in this clause deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer protection laws of your province or territory of residence.
3. Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision is nonetheless enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion is deemed severed from these Terms of Service. Such determination does not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
