Best out there. Battery life is insanely good, built in batter. App is super easy, lock is solid built. No extra hub to connect to wifi, its built in. Fingerprint scanner is fast. This is the best smart lock I ever had. tried schlage and other expensive brands, they dont even compete. This review is after using this lock for months. I will never buy any other smart locks, this is the one for me.

Great battery. Scheduling needs update

Put a couple of these on some doors that are used occasionally and the stand by battery life is great! It's been a couple months since I charged them fully and they are still over 90% full.I wish the app allowed for better scheduling of guest codes. Currently it only allows you to set a date range they work, and not a start and end time. The time range is used for the time of each day instead. That is helpful for some scenarios but not in my case.

It's a good smart lock if you're in the Tapo environment

I replaced a "dumb" keypad lock for this one since I already have other Tapo products and, so far, it's great. It was easy to install (I already had a similar lock so I didn't have to modify the door), easy to setup on the app. The fingerprint recognition works well and has been reliable and the option to create additional timed codes to give other people has come in handy.

Easy to install and configure, looks great. Battery life and USB C is fantastic!I replaced a Yale Assure 2 smart lock with this.The ONLY issue is that the bolt face plate (on the edge of the door...) is natural, not black. It should be black.

Joining the Tapo family!

This Tapo smart door lock has been working great for me. Installation was straightforward, and the lock feels solid and well made. It locks and unlocks quickly and reliably. The lithium battery last for a long time! I estimate about 7 months per charge.The biggest plus is the Tapo ecosystem. If you already use other Tapo devices, everything works smoothly in one app, and setup is easy. Managing access, checking status, and making changes is very convenient.Overall, it’s a reliable smart deadbolt with a clean design and a well-integrated ecosystem. Very happy with it.
