Follows movement and records locally on a mini sd card or on the cloud with Tapo care, which I have subscribed to happily. Le panneau solaire ne fonctionne pas avec le fil de rallonge . Le courrant est perdu. J'ai branch�� le panneau solaire directement sans le fil de rallonge et maintenant ?a fonctionne. Si on ne peut pas charger avec le panneau solaire, la batterie charg��e avec un chargeur est assez bonne pour une dur��e environ 3 mois ou plus...Je suis quand m��me satisfait de la sensibilit�� et de la qualit�� de l'image. Pas besoin d'abonnement avec une carte micro sd.

Well designed, feature rich, easy to install - good in low wifi environment, happy at -25C in Canada

Little to complain about, very good overall and very good in low signal wifi environment!, and in Canadian -25C weather this weekend with no issues. SD card worked flawlessly for no fee usage. Note: You cannot assign more than one SSID (wifi source) however unlike a web search telling you otherwise, you only need to delete it in the app, and re-add it as it will go through the entire initialization procedure whence you can select another SSID, and it will remember all your other settings (no factory reset necessary). The battery never went about 75% charge when plugged into a 3 amp USB supply, have not had sun yet to test the solar panel.

Other reviews mentioned that the solar panel did not charge their camera. Mine does. This camera works amazing. It's the best one we have ever had.

I seldom write reviews but I��ll make an exception in this case.The camera is excellent in all respects. The build quality is top notch. Sturdy, well-made, and everything fits together as it should. The process of downloading the app and setting up the camera was flawless. The paper quick start guide and the prompts from the app were clear and concise. Once set up was completed the camera worked as advertised.Monitoring from my iPhone or iPad is easy. Picture is clear. Sound quality is excellent. You can install a micro sd card if you don��t want to subscribe to the Tapo cloud. Events saved on the card are easy to access through your phone or camera.One last thing that really impressed me. You get a month��s free subscription to the Tapo cloud storage option. No credit card required. No having to cancel if you decide you don��t want to extend it. After the month you��ll be given the option to extend and the yearly fee is pretty reasonable.So there you have it. Great product. If it meets your need I highly recommend it.
