Actualización 12/11/25He notado que aunque fijes bien la base a la pared, la cámara tiende a temblar cuando se mueve al girar o con el aire. Tendrías que fijarlo tanto vertical y horizontal para que este 100 % fija.Un punto negativo es que la cámara literal se engancha en la base, o sea no va atornillada como otros modelos.La jalas hacia atrás y literal, la sacas.Es a favor si no está a cierto nivel de alcance pero si está casi a nivel de cualquier persona, sin problemas la saca de la base y prácticamente le estás regalando una cámara.Decidí moverla a mi puerta sustituyendo una de mis C520WS que vendí para comprar 2 más de estás.Se ve un poco más pobre que la que quite pero al final no noto tanto la diferencia porque no la uso para ver más allá de los 5 o 6 metros de distancia.Soy usuaria de Tapo, tengo un buen de dispositivos incluyendo 7 cámaras distintas y esta la vi en oferta y decidí pedirla.Tiene conexión USB C y aunque trae cargador por ahí leí otro comentario que si agregas un cable más largo, puede apagarse… quizá x la distancia. El cable tiene conexión tipo aislante al agua… si es para exterior si o si tiene que ser su propio cable como de 1 metro o 1 1/2 metros.Si es para pararla en sí misma, la inclinación es pésima. No te agacha lo suficiente como las de interior de la misma marca.La calidad es Tapo, si ya tienes alguna C510W va casi a la par.Yo la uso inclinada para mi sala y sin problema de inclinación.

Muy buen producto, fácil instalación con la aplicación de Tapo la cual es muy amigable para su uso. Es muy buena detectando movimiento y se ve muy bien, colores definidos, lo único por lo cual no la califico con la mayor puntuación es porque a diferencia de otras cámaras Tapo que tengo en uso y que son aún más económicas, en la parte de sonido me parece que no lo graba con tanta precisión como las otras que tengo, por más que lo ajusto siempre se escucha muy bajito lo que está pasando afuera mas sin embargo escucha. La tengo a la intemperie y para cuando escribo esta reseña tiene al redor de 5 meses instalada.

So far, so good but had it for few days as I am switching from ADT Pulse Video to Tapo, but can tell the quality difference on Tapo cameras.

UPDATE 7-20-25The issue with the camera shutting down appears to be a voltage drop in the power wire. I have upgraded rating to 4 stars. Due to the location of the camera, the USB-A cable was insufficient for the 60' length I needed. I found an alternative AC connection so the wire is now 30' and has been stable for about 1 day. The previous report of low WiFi signal was not accurate. I will probably send the WiFi estender back, since I have at leat "good" WiFi at -42db without it.Support though is still bad. Yet another unansweredd support email to them. I get the confirmation that it was receved and never hear anything else. Oh well, the camera is working as expected now at least.While the setup process on the app goes well, it is not at all good if there is a problem.2) Although i had the online set up instructions, some parts of it pass lightly over certain steps and features and that can make it difficult to see what went wrong when something doesn't work. For example, I had no motion following function at first, although all of the settings appears to be per the instructions. One little check box and removine another allwed that to work.3) While there is a sensitivity setting for Person Detection, it is hard to find the point where it won't see the dogs and still see a person. Ring, for example, and Furbo, can eleimiate false alerts completely by setting yes or no to people or pets.4) Althouth my TP-Loink AX1800 WiFi can be picked up by my phone from half a block down the street, one camera dept shutting down. I followed in structions and recycled the power and it connected. For a short time, then Off again. I have now bought and set up a TP-Link ac1200 extender. After about an hour it is still connected, but let's see what it does after a couple of weeks and when we are not home. Another $20.5) After all the setup and gaining the expected function using the Tapo app, I found that it automatically connected the cameras to my Alexa account. This is a vital purpose of Alexa-compatibility. On my main Echo Show, I can verbally call up 3 Ring cameras, either all at one or individually, including answering the door remotely. I call up one of the Tapo cameras on the Alexa App first and it was "Unavailable, although properly connected. It also DID NOT show up on the Echo. Yes, it loaded the camera, but the picture was also unavavailable.This part is KEY: Do not click on the have TP-Link call me on Amazon and do not email them or try the chat-bot. The bot just send you to the RAQ pages, no one will EVER call and no one at TP-Link or Tapo has EVER returned an emails as the "auto-reply" promised. Get ther phone number and call them, no matter how long you have to wait. That is the ONLY WAY to get support.6) Yes, the support person on the phone helped me "fix" it. With no explanation of what might be wrong, I had to remove both cameras from Alexa (in the app), then find them and re-add them. How is this boint to work when I NEED to see the camera right now or when we are away? Right. It won't. How oftern will a reset/re-add be necessary? How oftern will I need to disconnect and reconnect power?If you really need security it would likely be better to pay more and get a pro-level system. This is more or a toy and real security as it seems so far.

Great camera, dynamite for the money! We tried 3 different ring cameras and couldn't get them to work, constantly needing to be reconnected over and over. We already have a bunch of TPLinks and I have always liked their stuff, so when I say this camera was affiliated with them then I jumped on it. 1000X better camera than those ring cameras and it was actually cheaper... I definitely recommend pairing it up with a TPLink WiFi Extender like I did for smooth functionality. They are the best extenders I have ever had and the software is the same as these cameras.

It turned out to be very good, it helps me a lot to keep an eye on my son in his room, it has an alarm and you can talk through it.

Excelente opción a un buen precio, la calidad de imagen es bastante aceptable, la calidad del producto es excelente, y la app es la mejor.Sin embargo, hay que considerar que no graba continuamente, aunque se contrate la nube y/o se inserta memoria micro SD; del mismo modo, no te que el modo obscuro, todo color depende de qué se prenda el Flash, sin este solo es en modo visión nocturna blanco y negro, aun así me gustó mucho por el precio

Llegó en perfectas condiciones. Fácil de configurar con el celular y con el iPad. Instalación casera, trae su base y siempre que esté cerca de un contacto a corriente, puede ponerse en cualquier parte; discreto; tiene sonido; tiene micrófono y se mueve en 360° girando a los lados y hacia arriba y hacia abajo. Se ajustó muy bien a mis necesidades.
