4K 8MP Outdoor Pan/Tilt Wired Camera | Tapo C560WS

The camera works great. Does what it says and the app is good once you figure everything out. The micro SD memory cards are expensive. 512GB micro SD cards are almost the same cost of the camera!What I am disappointed in is the power supply. Wow!...CHEAP-O indoor power supply. The wires at the camera are robust, but they give you a really cheap power supply that is NOT intended to be used outdoors. In fact, the expectation that the power supply is going to get plugged into an outdoor power outlet is boggling. I have already started to look for an alternate 12V 1A power supply. Very high quality 4K, can read license plates that I’ve never been able to before. The PTZ is very weird when you pan left/right. I use this camera for a straight aim only.

J'aime bien la caméra , bonne vision.je me pose la question sur la carte sd qu'on peu y installée, on fait quoi si elle est pleine ? Est-ce que ca réenregistre a nouveau dessus ou faut l'enlevée et la vidée pour la remettre dans la caméra?

I have multiple Tapo cameras and have actually just ordered another one. Thought I would love this 4K camera but was unhappy with it’s mounting and coverage area after mounting.. view was great but with limitations on distance coverage (for me) I was not happy so returned.

For many applications this camera is adequate but for a situation such as a long driveway the vertical tilt is very limited unless you are interested in shoe sizes. Also motion detection is triggered by most environmental conditions such as rain snow wind etc. It may just be me but the app is difficult to navigate in my opinion such as the cloud subscription is difficult to access any detections that you want to review and local is not laid out very well. I gave it 4 stars because the camera itself is better then some I've had but I will be looking for another solution for my situation.

This camera has been installed for about 5 months outside, including during the winter at -20C, and it has never failed or crashed a single time. The face recognition works well, but when the camera is installed at heights, it cannot see the faces properly due to the angle so the feature does not always catch faces. It does identify objects properly though, like persons, pets, and motion.

Good image quality, don't know about 4k over wifi, but decent improvement compared to their older outdoor cameras.Not as wide of a field of view as I would have liked for a security camera, especially considering how much the mounting bracket sticks the camera out from the wall.If you're drilling a hole through a wall for the wiring, keep in mind this comes with 2 wires that need to be able to fit through - one of which is for an ethernet cable connection which is quite large so you'll have to make a decent sized hole to fit everything through.Overall, it's a good quality camera that works well over WiFi. Room for improvement, but still pleased with it.

Malheureusement elle ne mérite pas 5 étoiles. 1- Pour la rotation de droit à gauche lorsqu’elle suit un mouvement , elle se déplace trop rapidement se qui fait des petits mouvements trop rapides et arrêts et départ et arrêt et départ et arrêt. La vitesse de déplacement aurait dû être plus lente et constante.2- Pour le déplacement de bas en haut , elle couvre à peine 90° donc , ne monte pas tout à fait assez haut pour voir loin à l’horizontal.3- L’image est cependant très bonne mais laDifférence avec une 2K n’est pas si énorme que ça.Finalement, je pense que j’aimais autant ma vieille 2K de Tapo également car elle se déplaçait de gauche à droite plus lentement et suivait donc le sujet dans ses déplacements. Et elle avait environ 120° de déplacement de haut en bas.

I bought the first plug in 4 k camera and loved it so much that I installed the second, it’s been three weeks and works great. The installation was super easy, as was the setup. The images are Cristal clear, can easily read licence plates from afar, it tilts pans and zooms like a charm . I’m extremely impressed and satisfied and will probably get another one in order to cover whole property.

Works well, connected to my phone easily . I can see the cameras view when away from home. Recommended.

Easy to connect and well built. This is my sixth tap camera for home security. The only issue was there was no weather sealing ring for the power cord in the box.

Camera was easy to set up and picture quality is excellent. App is simple to use as well.
