I've tried a few smart locks and never got past installation due to the window on my door. This one is slim enough to clear it. Easy setup, no issues physically or digitally. Integrated quickly into my smart things system. Kids think the fingerprint reader is cool. Wish it came in brushed nickel but clashing is ok on the mud room door. Key is schlage SC1 style and the lock can be changed to match your existing house key. Seems like a winner, hope battery life isn't too annoying.

The media could not be loaded.

My Kwikset wifi lock finally died and took a chance with this lock from Topo even with some questionable reviews. Installation was simple. Plenty of videos online to follow. Setup on the app was also straight forward and setting up the finger prints was very easy. I haven't had any issue using the finger print scanner when opening the door. It opens up everytime unless my finger isn't on the scanner correctly. I can use this with Alexa and Google home using voice however you have to verbally give a PIN number to Alexa or Google in order for the door to open. I haven't found a way to disable asking for a PIN code. So far after almost a month I would have to say this is way better than my 10 year old Kwikset.

After researching quite a few smart deadbolts, I decided on the Tapo DL105, and it has absolutely exceeded my expectations. The standout feature is definitely the fingerprint recognition. It is lightning-fast (unlocks in under a second) and has a incredibly high accuracy rate, even when your hands are slightly full or cold.Because it has built-in Wi-Fi, you don��t need to worry about buying an extra bridge or hub to connect it to your network. The Tapo app is incredibly polished��it sends real-time push notifications the second the door is unlocked, keeps a flawless activity log, and lets you generate temporary or one-time codes for guests or service workers. The auto-lock feature provides massive peace of mind, ensuring the door secure behind you without second-guessing if you locked it. It feels exceptionally rugged, holds a BHMA certification for durability, and the tactile buttons are crisp and responsive. If you want a top-tier smart lock that integrates seamlessly into a modern smart home ecosystem, this is it.

Nice keypad and great price. My big complaint is that it doesn't always on unlock on the first try and the fingerprint reader is extremely finicky. Otherwise, installation and setup was super easy, especially adding it to an existing Tapo account. FYI the battery takes quite a while to charge fully. Best to plug it in overnight.

Great product, don't have to connect it to my wifi and the app is great. battery lasts a long time. don't have to carry my keys every time I leave the house and reads my fingerprints just fine. worked so well I got one for a remote access entry device for my business. receptionist can unlock the door while sitting down. a locksmith quoted us $1500 to install a buzz entry device.

This lock is so easy to install (though I am not sure if that's a good thing....) and connect to the Wifi. It's also Google Assistant compatible which I can give natural command to control combination of appliances in one sentence. I also like the lock rotation calibration is not as stringent as the TCL one, so the door lock just fit right in to my existing one with zero modification. The touch of the faceplate is solid and feel premium. I also like the 105 version because they key has backlight when you press it, which is super helpful during the night. Finger print scanning and PIN setup is also easy to do in the App. And honestly even if you don't like navigating an additional app and just need the basic lock/unlock functionality, the Google Assistant is really all you need ever. Or if you don't like those high tech stuff, you can just do it manually!

I appreciate how this lock integrates with my video doorbell, especially since both are made by the same manufacturer. The app is superb, and I wish more manufacturers offered locks like this at a fair price. Compared to the Weiser Halo keypad with Wi?Fi, this lock is far better than the competition because it costs less. It offers reliable battery life, charging, and fingerprint functionality. Highly recommended if you hate keys.

Easy to install, easy to configure, fantastic battery life.ONE small issue. The face plate on the bolt isn't black with black screws. If you have a back door handle, it has a black strike plate and face place for the bolt.Really solid quality too.

Very impressed with this lock and its features.

We changed out the door in my husbands garage to one with a window and needed a new deadbolt lock that would fit beside the window. Every other lock in our house is weiser but the prices were crazy, plus it might not have worked with the window.. This one came up and I thought we could try it and if we didn't like it, we could return it. Well its frigging awesome! It has a doorbell, we can program it to lock after a period of time, its has a keypad as well as a key and fingerprint reader! It was so easy to install and we love the rubber on the backing plate. It easily fit beside the window with room to spare. Wish I had heard of this brand before!

Amazing smart lock for price

I got this for my back door and already have the tapo camera which I was happy with. For the price this is an amazing smart lock with a rechargeable battery that lasts more than 6 months and fingerprint access. I have no complaints. Would definitely recomment it.
