Initial Review:The camera is a solid piece of hardware that works exactly as described. Over the past 3 days I've tested the cameras with my rather strict requirements in order for what I needed. This camera has a lot of smart features built in to allow for reliable offline operations and smart "AI" features built in which allows for a wide array of alerts. Initially it was a pain to get the alerts dialed in so that I wasn't bombarded with notifications 24/7. However once done, I only received notification when an actual event was detected. My recommendation if you're using it in the manner I was (as shown in photos.) Make your detection areas smaller and set the sensitivity between 2-4.Overall the camera has clear video quality, however I found myself switch starlight mode off as the camera's LEDs appeared to be always on during the night.The downside of this camera is it's power connector. The provided connector is not waterproof and while the 3M cable is plenty long for most people in my case I found it to be too short in 2 out of 3 areas I have this camera installed.Lastly the main advantage of a camera such as this one is the "open" nature of the software the RTSP and being able to use this to add the camera to Homekit has allowed this camera to integrate well with my setup. However, I cannot say the same for the "supported" Google Home setup as you will need a smart display to be able to view the feed from this Camera.Better, more detailed review will be included in about a month's time from now. Overall, I would recommend this camera to others especially considering it's NVR support, built in detection and great price point.Cloud storage is being tested, overall okay nothing special in my opinion.

Fantastic camera. Clear and crisp picture and lots of different features. Before ordering this i read afew reviews that said it only recorded for 2 seconds and was lagging. I had the same thing happen but it wasnt the camera, it was my wifi. I did some internet digging and found that In the app you can see signal strength for each camera and mine was too weak because it was too far away from the router. I bought a wifi booster for like 50 bucks and bam the cameras worked flawlessly. They are very sensitive and record everything that you have selected. Its alot of features so it took me a while to tweak it how I want it but now its perfect. Id give this 6 stars if I could. Very easy set up and very easy directions to follow (and im tech stupid).

I purchased this camera to try as I already had two other Tapo cameras which are double the price of this one.There are so many features that I want to list, but you can find them in the camera videos and other online YouTube reviews. I will talk about the major key points that I liked.Pros:1. This camera can produce colored videos even in the night time without starting the light. I have uploaded a night video that you can see.2. Photo and video quality is great.3. I tested it on wi-fi and wired and both work great. Surprisingly the Wi-fi coverage is better than my other two Tapo cameras, it may be due to the antena.4. It is full of features and you can use it with cloud or without cloud (local SD card storage).5. I am in Canada and it has already started snowing, but they provide you with weather seal for both the wire connections. That is really helpful.6. Tapo app is wonderful and loads quickly for me. I am happy with the app and its features so far.7. You can create zones for different kinds of movements like, people, car, dog and even create a line-crossing detection, area intrusion detection and camera tampering notifications and the list goes on and on.8. Alerts and detection are error free and amazingly they work 100% accurate every time. I have been Lorex camera user in the past and i loved those cameras but detection was something that always lacked in my Lorex cameras.Cons:Technically I have not seen any negatives of this camera so far but since it is a wired camera, you may have to look for an easy way to put the power on. Wired internet is not a big challenge since it connects with Wi-fi like a charm.I would recommend this product.

Great camera, easy to setup and looks amazing.Make sure you move your camera further back or you will feel ��zoomed�� in.

Surprisingly good people detection. I got this one for my front yard and use a few similarly priced 360�� cameras for other angles around my property. The image quality is good, though not great when zooming in, but it's more than good enough for my needs.I'm very satisfied with this purchase. It offers great value for the price and quality.
