All I can say is I love this camera, I live in canada and its cold with the chill feels like - 21 and this camera is out side on the open and it works amazing great picture quality all around works amazing has this camera for year now never let me down thank you for an amazing product.i will be purchasing more for inside and out ????
h
I got these in 2025 for the area around the chicken coop bc we had a fox problem. I loved that they have an alarm. The alarm worked well but the fox did outsmart it sadly. The fox figured out how to go around the camera without setting it off. So we put the camera on a movable pole so it was always in a different spot each day. The alerts and alarm helped me to know when to run out and chase the fox away before it could get to the chickens. I ordered 2 cameras although one had extra features the other one did not have but I cant recall what it was now. So that was weird. Now I have one in the chicken coop itself so I can watch the chickens for fun even when I am not there. Also is nice to be able to make sure they are safe. The detail it picks up is great. I can even see the mice crawling around the coop at night.

Very happy with this camera
B
Seems to work very well

I'm not giving 5 stars due to misinformation on the description of the camera. IT IS NOT WIRED! IT IS WIRELESS! Of course it needs power to function, but in English we describe this as CORDED, NOT WIRED! So, the camera is good, works well. BUT IT IS NOT WIRED! There are other models from TAPO really WIRED.
A
Buy it, NOW
s
This camera is wireless only not wired. Should say corded because it use power but now wired with RJ45

Works well., great features!

as advertised

Good product for price doing a good job
B
It works well. It saved us from opening the door to a bear that was checking out the carport. The only thing I don't like about it is you HAVE to have a smartphone to set it up and there appears to be no way to monitor it from a computer in the house. So, if the smartphone user that set it up it is completely useless to any other household members. We were hoping to be able to see/control it from the family computer. Now one needs to look out the peep hole to see what's happening if smartphone is out of the house
V
Great camera for the price pointHavent had any issues with this camera
M
Love this camera. It's better than the ones we have with Telus. Haven't had an issue with connection or anything really.Easy to put up and the app is great.I bought the Tapo C210 for inside and I was really impressed, have had those for 7 months and no issues so I purchased this one. Happy I did. Definitely recommend.
M
Works pretty good, survives Canadian winters, the only consistent issue I have is that the local storage with an SD card never works properly for long. It might work correctly for a bit but then it stops recording motion events and letting me watch the recording correctly. Maybe it's the SD cards I'm drawing but they had good reviews on Amazon ? Still a decent value for just the camera if you don't care about reliable local recording. The other option is to pay for their cloud storage plan, which costs $90 USD per year for up to 5 cameras with 7 days of storage.
T
Easy to install. Easy to use, Great quality picture, got 2 of them now,Maybe more later
M
This is by far the perfect security camera I have come across. The 360 degree coverage is perfect for viewing a wide area around my back yard. The night vision is even better than I thought it would be. There is some trail and error on the initial set up but once you get it set for the area you want to monitor it is perfect.
E
This is my fifth Tapo camera and they all perform very well. I combine them with Kingston branded micro usb cards for storage and have not had any problems with initializing the cards as I have read in some other reviews. I find the 1080p provides a clear picture during the day and adequate night time depending on the distance. If I was using this for a business to protect against vandalism I would probably go with the 2 or 4 k versions. The software that they provide is versatile as well. One feature I like is the ability to save views so a single click pans to a preset rather than having to move the camera manually. Tracking feature is also nice.
