Matter Mini Smart Wi-Fi Plug | Tapo P125M(3-Pack)

They work perfectly .. it was way to set them up. I have Samsung Smart Things Hub connected these with it however the Tapo app is also easy to work with. Connecting them took less than 5 minutes and they didn’t drop connections since then which is great. I have connected these with my string and led strip lights inside the house to turn on and off automatically everyday. I like that the app has not just automation but also option for creating scene where you can define one action leading to another. Set it to activate at Sunrise/Sunset/ Specific days of the week at specific time etc. The app is easy to use and product looks robust

I actually ordered this product from the US site, which is $20 cheaper even including the $9 import fee. But Aamazon couldn't deliver for unknown reason. So I ordered it from the CA site and it arrived the next day. Well, a little pricey. I already own 2 TP Link Tapo Cam and 1 older generation plug. So, set up is easy for me. Just took a while to find out its model name is P125M. After searching for Wifi and entering the password, the plug was already set up. The mandatory firmware update, took 2 minutes to complete. Not bad. One star off because its fat body design blocks 3 sockets!!

It was challenging to get this working on Hubitat and Google Home. First, decide which hub you want to control this with. If you have Echo devices around the house, they will act as a hub for the Matter devices, and vice versa if you have Google devices around the house. Hubitat will only control the devices as long as they're assigned to either Alexa, Google or Apple Home. If you don't have any devices that can act as a hub for Matter, you're only choice is to use the Tapo app. Also, if you set this up on Google Home or Alexa without any compatible hubs or the Tapo app, devices will show offline.Setup on the Tapo app will link to either Google Home or Alexa. Then go into device settings on either Google or Alexa and link apps and services. Choose get pairing code and copy that number. Go into Hubitat and add a device. Choose Matter and it will ask you for a pairing code. Enter that code and your device will be added to Hubitat.Make sure you update the devices firmware via Tapo App first. I initially had issues with the pairing code on Hubitat until I updated the firmware.

This plug works great. It supports mater so integration with the home assistant is simple and makes automation routines easy. No issues with connectivity.

These are great an exceptional product. I’ve use several other types over the years and they all work but all that I’ve used are unnecessary difficult to setup. Also virtually all that I’ve used sometimes inadvertently detach from the network. This product is especially easy to setup and it also works with Alexa. I’ve only recently discovered Apple’s Home app and I’m loving converting everything to that system. It’s much easier and seamless in execution. No waiting just say what you want and it happens from dimming lights to changing colors to turning things on and off. In my opinion you cannot go wrong choosing this product. Also, they arrived quickly and well packaged that’s always a plus. Also if it inadvertently detaches from the system, which it hasn’t yet at least you know it’s a breeze erasing it from the app and setting up again like a new device.

Bought Smart Plug Mini to replace my Wemo Light plug. Seting up was very easy using the Tapo app. Now I can control all the plug devies in variouse very easily using apple shortcujsts and Siri with voice command. TP-Link have done a very nice job with the App and the Smart Plug Mini ... Highly recommend ... Matter compatability is questionable as my Apple Home App demanded that I use a Hub ...

It works as it supposed to AND I didn't need to download any app. Connected directly to Google or Tapo app and works in conditions like minus 30 Celsius.
